This week we've been face first in our books for the majority of the time. I usually don't find myself finishing books very quickly if ever. With this book that I'm reading I've been able to finish it in a week and I am very surprised. I think it has to do with the fact that we were taught to have a big question in mind while reading and that has given me more of a purpose to actually read and finish the book. I have also found myself more interested in this book than I ever would've imagined. This week I have learned that full immersion into a concept or book allows you to fully understand and comprehend whatever it may be you are doing. This week we also have been taking notes in a way I have never done before. We take pictures of the pages that have text that correlate to our big question. By doing this I don't have to completely stop reading to write for 5 minutes what it is that I just wrote. All around I think this method is a great idea. I'm also very surprised how well my big question is fitting in with the book that I have chosen. I've been able to take multiple pictures that I will be able to use next week.
